Zammer

Zammer started as a hack day project at an education themed hackathon at Facebook’s London office. We wanted to try to solve a big problem so we looked at revision in particular. Our thinking was that if we could take something which is important but hard work and combine it with some of the many tactics that casual mobile games utilise to hook their users, we could end up with quite a powerful solution. We ended up winning the hack day and after considerable positive feedback from numerous educators, decided to make Zammer a reality.

We are based in an old snuff mill warehouse in Bewdley, Worcestershire. Our team is almost entirely technical so we have nerds a-plenty. We are also mostly either ex-teachers or have partners who are so we understand the challenges and rewards associated with teaching.
